Clubs
Formation of Entrepreneurship Development Clubs is a novel programme launched by the Industries and Commerce Department of Kerala State in co-operation with Kerala Institute of Entrepreneurship Development.
Some of the chief objectives of this club are:
(i) To inculcate social virtues i.e., trustworthiness, integrity, hard work, discipline, honesty etc. as constituents of entrepreneurship.
(ii) To sensitize students on the real economic and industrial development of the state.
(iii) To make them aware of the unlimited developmental potential of the state and to inculcate entrepreneurial culture in the students. The ED Club aims at nurturing the entrepreneurial talents of its members.
The Tourism Club of our college is formed with an objective of creating
awareness among the students about Tourism activities and to incorporate the
student’s strength and potential in the development of tourism in our state.
With the support of the District Tourism Promotion Council, the tourism club
was set up in our college in the year 2002 to create proper awareness about
tourism among the youth and to promote Kerala tourism. Tourism
department, Govt. Of Kerala gave its accreditation to the Tourism club of our
college in January 2024 .
Tourism club is effectively functioning in the college and the club conducts
following programs:
Tourist Destination Cleaning
Nature camp
Trekking
Anti drug campaign
Tours
