The Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee at St. Joseph’s College, Moolamattom is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The committee is responsible for preventing and addressing any form of sexual harassment within the college premises and ensuring that such incidents are dealt with sensitively and effectively.
The committee comprises members from various departments of the college, including faculty, non-teaching staff, and student representatives. The members are trained to handle complaints of sexual harassment and to support the complainant throughout the process. They are also responsible for creating awareness about sexual harassment and promoting a culture of respect and gender sensitivity within the college community.
The Anti- Sexual Harassment Committee at St. Joseph’s College, Moolamattom follows the guidelines laid down by the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee ensures that all complaints of sexual harassment are dealt with in a prompt, confidential, and impartial manner. The committee also ensures that the identity of the complainant is kept confidential, and there is no victimization or retaliation against the complainant.
