Independence Day Celebration
The Independence Day celebration at St. Joseph’s College, Moolamattom was a vibrant event, marked by a strong sense of patriotism and community spirit. The ceremony began at 9 AM with the hoisting of the national flag. The ceremony was attended by students, teachers, and NCC cadets, who proudly gave a salute to the tricolour flag soared in the sky. The cadets then led the gathering in singing the national anthem, followed by the NCC song, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of reverence. The Principal Rev. Dr. Thomas George Vengaluvakkel CMI delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of freedom intertwined with the responsibility of environmental sustainability, encouraging everyone to protect and preserve the environment as a tribute to the nation. The celebration concluded on a sweet note, with the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and purpose.
